New Zealand (Aotearoa) is shaped by a tradition of Maori culture; the influence of a multi-cultural melting pot has given this land a unique flavour. From our landscape, full of lush green forest providing a habitat suited only for our much-loved kiwi. To the natural geo-phenomenon, gifting the land with the Pounamu (commonly known as New Zealand Jade or "greenstone"). Not to mention our unspoiled land, with endless fields in sight, our practice of organic farming, all combine to provide us with the finest New Zealand wool product.
Our Kiwi, the flightless bird is our New Zealand icon and our national treasure. We have sourced a range of products to depict our Kiwi such as Kiwi pendant, soft toy range and cushion all made right here in New Zealand.
"Greenstone" or Pounamu comes from the West coast of New Zealand. Traditionally this is carved into weapons or tools. Today, it is worn as decorative jewellery, in the form of pendants (jade or cast with silver) and rings or carved into ornaments. Each carving has its own meaning either in spiritual sense e.g. Tiki, Hei Matau or representation of an icon e.g. Kiwi.
New Zealand sheep variety produces the finest wool quality. Within our web-based shop, we have an assortment of slippers, boots and rugs for your selection. I was more than satisfied with both the goods purchased and service received. I received the slippers I ordered in four days and am very pleased with them. It is nice to own something in the UK that has not come from CHINA.

I am totally chuffed with my slippers--I am of the age when comfort and style are of equal importance, and am pleased to report that my new "slipps" (as my kids call them) fulfill both requirements!!.it is also good that I don't have to change footwear every time I need to go outside to the dustbin, as the soles are hard enough for outdoor use.Indeed, I have,once or twice,gone to drive off, only realising at the last minute the slipps are still with me.
When the slipps do wear out, I will be returning to New Zealand--if not in person-for some replacements.
Thankyou also for the amazingly quick delivery to here--it was quicker than a lot of post within England!!
I would also highly recommend the service offered by this company--prompt, efficient and polite--what more does one need?! |
